Reiki, pronounced Ray-Kee, is a Japanese healing technique that works with the ki within the body. Ki is the Japanese word for life force, the non-physical energy that animates all living things (and I believe is in all life, animate or not). Reiki is great for anyone seeking an alternative approach to wellness through working with the Ki. 

 I am a Certified Master Teacher in Sacred Breath, Karuna and Usui Reiki. I also have training Ka Shen Seichim Reiki and additional forms of reiki that all blend with the focus of light and lightwork.  In the evolution of my work, I have been blessed and guided to create my own Reiki Mentorship program called Light of Life Reiki.

I began my formal Reiki training in 2001, when I received my Usui Reiki Level I attunement. The Usui Level I attunement helped to enhance an already conscious ability to sense, see, and hear energy and it helped me to better understand what I was experiencing.

Since then I have been dedicated to sharing my passion and appreciation for all that living an energy-filled life brings to me. Energy is in everything I do. It is a huge focus on my life path. I began teaching Uusi Reiki in 2006, when I felt I was living what I could teach, and since then I have taught several group and individual Reiki trainings, keeping the classes small and teaching when the students are ready. In my personal life- I use energy techniques for wholistic wellness with my family and for spirit communication, as I have a lot of spirit work I'm blessed to do inside my own home. I am deeply honored to be able to provide access to this wonderful ancient healing technique, one of the many languages of light.

Your Session

In your reiki session, we address the reason for your visit through a confidential discussion, helping us to come into the bigger picture of why you're requesting reiki.  Reiki can be applies to all areas of need within the body, working with the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual layers of our being. Our session will focus on shifting the energy within and around your being into a harmonious flowing state, by shifting and releasing energetic blockages. The client is completely clothed through the entire session and there is light or no touch of the therapist's hands on the body. Usually the client feels very relaxed and connected to their full being.

Light of Life Reiki was created by Amber to better suit those coming into their energy awareness, a reiki for modern times and modern methods. Amber has studied many energy therapies from around the world and through a deep understanding and connection to life's light of cultures now and past, she was able to bring forward into the current stream of consciousness this mentorship for those seeking a solid and meaningful expansion into the world of energy as we are now streaming.

I received my Karuna (TM) Reiki training in 2005. Since then I've deepened into my reiki practice in a way that I never would've imagined. I feel more connected to the ki of life, the client and the great spirit body that each client brings into session. Karuna (TM) helped to grow my intuitive gifts and has become my dominate in my Reiki style of choice, though Usui is always intertwined.

Karuna Reiki master Training Levels I and II

Cost for the Karuna (T) Reiki training is $500. This is a two day class and includes Levels I and II.

The Karuna Reiki Master Training Class for anyone who has had Reiki Master training.

It is complete with two levels, two attunements, four master symbols and eight treatment
symbols.This method of reiki has been taught since 1994 and it has been found it to be effective and powerful. In fact, most students find it more powerful than Usui Reiki! The energy has a more definite feeling to it. It works on the emotional and spiritual levels and also can help one become more grounded. Those who receive the attunements report experiences with their guides, angels, and higher self and feel the healing presence of other enlightened beings.

A brief description of the four Karuna® I symbols is given here:

• The first symbol prepares the client for deep healing and is useful with past life issues. It helps release karma and deeply seated issues on the cellular level.
• The second symbol heals deeply and can be used to breakup the negative patterns we unconsciously use to insulate ourselves from the truth, thus shattering delusion and denial. It heals the shadow self.
• The third symbol fills the person with love and restores balance.
• The fourth symbol completes the treatment by bringing the client back into the body and grounding.
• The Karuna II symbols are of a higher vibration and more powerful. They help connect directly with the Higher Self and work on a deeper level. While tthey have specific purposes discussed in class, the experience of their energy allows intuitive guidance in their use.

Both levels of Karuna Reik® and both attunements will be given as well as instruction and practice on the use of all twelve symbols. You will be able to teach all four levels of Karuna Reiki®, two practitioner levels and two master levels after taking this class.

A lot of practice time is included for giving treatments, using the symbols and for learning the attunement processes.

We will also do a Reiki meditation to be aware of and heal the Shadow Self and using chanting and toning with Karuna Reiki®.

A certificate and a 45 page manual is included with in depth descriptions of each symbol and each attunement process.

You will also be offered the opportunity to become a Registered Karuna Reiki® Master" with The International Center for Reiki Training. You will then be
able to use our manuals and your student certificates will come from the Center.
