My yoga began in 1996, at the fantastic age of 18, the age I was when I moved out and started my adult life. Yoga has been with me every step, every breath of my adult life. I have studied and trained in various styles of yoga and enjoy learning and teaching in the Hatha and Kundalini traditions. I started studying Hatha Yoga in 1996 and Kundalini Yoga in 2000. I have been teaching since 2002, but I see myself as a lifelong student. I feel blessed to share my insights of yoga with the wonderful souls who attend my classes, their support and presence I deeply appreciate.
My work's focus is on whole-being awareness, helping my students to understand cause and effect and how to energize and illuminate their daily lives with effective and meaningful whole-being yoga techniques. Techniques I study and teach include movement, meditation, mantras and mudras, creating what I feel is whole-being yoga, yoga with my hands, my body, my mind, my voice and my spirit to create internal and external unity of oneness, the very purpose of yoga.
